If you’re nerdy about the great outdoors, as we are, you’ll be familiar with this phrase. “Leave no trace” is a set of best practices to help ramblers both enjoy and protect the natural world. As a brand inspired by the great outdoors, we feel truly aligned, so we’ve adopted the leave no trace principal and applied it to our product thinking. }
From now on, ALL Anorak bedding, towels and cotton clothing will be produced using only 100% organic cotton. New styles are already organic and, as we sell through existing stock, we’ll be replenishing it with organic. Happy days, happy planet.
We’re on a mission to keep our carbon footprint low and our quality high. Supporting our loyal family of British factories has, and always will be, a top priority for us. Around 30% of Anorak product lines are made on British soil, and we’ll be looking to increase this % as we move to an even more sustainable future.
We’re working with several charities relating to the great outdoors and beyond. These include Whale and Dolphin Conservation and most recently King’s College Hospital in London.
Our mail order catalogues support responsible management of the world’s forests and are printed using biodegradable vegetable inks and FSC certified paper. We also work with World Land Trust to offset the carbon emissions of our paper, protecting forests under threat of deforestation.
