About Anorak
“As a child we spent many holidays on the road in our camper van.
It was fun waking up in new places with campsites to explore and people to meet. It might sound funny, but I have great memories of washing up dishes at the campsite. It is very communal as everyone goes to the same place with their plates and you end up getting to know people on a very intimate level. It’s very basic and down to earth.”

Anorak was founded from a love of travel and outdoor living. Launched in 2008 by Laurie Robertson, Anorak focuses on sustainability, quality and durability, fuses contemporary design with a nostalgic ethos drawing inspiration from childhood travel adventures. To keep Anorak’s carbon footprint as low as possible and support British industry, all Anorak products are designed and manufactured in the UK.
The launch collection, ‘Kissing Animals’ uses silhouettes of animals to bring a burst of whimsy to an exciting range of products including sleeping bags, bed linen and picnic blankets. With an exciting range of products for home and outdoors, Anorak seeks to blur the boundaries between the outside and the in.
